Dads… 594 Bitcoin ($38 million) was stolen in just 25 minutes from around 500 Coldcard hardware wallets.
A firmware bug dating back to 2021 made many seed phrases far less random than they were supposed to be. Attackers (likely using AI) figured it out and swept single-signature wallets while most of us were asleep.
